Mastering Long Exposure on Your iPhone

Long exposure photography allows you to capture the passage of time in a single frame, adding a dramatic sense of motion to your images. 1. Stabilize Your Phone

Before you commit to the shot, you should refine your focus and lighting conditions. Tap the screen on your subject to lock the focus point, indicated by a yellow square. Once focused, you can slide your finger up or down on the screen to brighten or darken the exposure to your preference.

After snapping your photo while keeping the phone still, head over to your Photos app. Select the image you just took and tap the drop-down menu located in the top left corner. Choose “Long Exposure” from the options to instantly transform your still photo into a dynamic image with motion blur.
